The Co-operative Gateway East of England (CGEE) Limited was formed in 2009 by several co-operative development bodies (CDB's) to promote and support co-operative development across the Eastern Region.
Our major aim as expressed in our mission statement is the support and development of co-operatives and other social enterprises in the Eastern Region of Great Britain. All member organisations have several years experience in this field of work in their particular geographical areas, and have combined together to bring this expertise across the region - wherever that need is.
Working with our partnership organisations we are able to offer start-up co-operatives and social enterprises the support they may need to make their ideas a reality. This advice and support will often be at modest cost and in many cases free to the fledgling organisation. You are welcome to contact us at our regional office or if you prefer directly to with our member organisations. We also support existing social organisations and should be able to help in most cases with our consultancy services.
